What is Hilliard?
1.
Hilliard, while not being as wealthy as other suburbs of Columbus, does tend to have classier, more polite, and overall less snobish citizens than those residing in the Dublin and Upper Arlington areas. There is a wide socioeconomic range of wealth, with some houses priced below 100,000 dollars and others priced above 500,000.
It has a rapidly expanding school district and with terrific, but grossly underpaid teachers.
There are two high schools currently operating in Hilliard, Darby and Davidson. Davidson has the reputation of the more 'athletic' school, with a football state championship in 2006, but Darby looks to be a dominating force in its conference, capturing at least 9 OCC titles, including Football, in the fall of 2007 alone. Darby also boasts an acclaimed music, notably, Marching Band, and theatre department.
Because each high school is overcrowded, there will be a third high school opening in the fall of 2009, Hilliard Bradley.
Old Hilliard is considered the gem of the community, with its quaint brick sidewalks, diners, ice cream places, and barber shops. Unfortunately, due to the construction, many of these places and things were lost in an effort to update the town's facade. Many have said that the removing of the brick sidewalks has also removed some of the town's charm.
Basically, though, even without those brick sidewalks, many Hilliard residents are kind and down to earth, supplying Hilliard with all the charm it needs.
Everyone: "Hilliard, its nice, live there. It's like Dublin without the snobs!"

a scummy suburb of columbus. about as technologically advanced as somalia, with slightly less n's. There are not too many bangable chicks there, however, there are many with great child-bearing hips. I would compare their athletics to the team in the first Mighty Ducks movie before Gordon Bombay became coach.
hilliard sucks but at least its not detroit

A small town across the train tracks from dublin. Well known for having a 7-11 and a Gun World on every block. No need for money in Hilliard just cows and bits of string. The residents are mainly hicks who live for chances to show up a Dublin school. You can tell how long a person has lived in Hilliard by counting teeth(less is more) Other then Slurpees and Cici pizza there really is no reason to ever go to Hilliard.
