An Invisble Munkee Slap (IMS) is a directive handed down by a severely out-of-touch PHB who thinks he is a visionary, but is really just a silly munkee. The PHB likes to think (s)he is doing you a favor, but in reality is just slapping you in the back of head with a poorly planned project which you are now forced to deliver.
