The term "juif" is the French word for Jew or Jewish.
In certain parts of Northern Ontario, Canada, the term "juif" can also be a slang word. Although anti-semetism is very low in this region, as the Jewish population is very low, the slang word arose in the 1990's in these parts to mean to "rip off" or can be used to jokingly call your friend a fukker.
