What is Killeen, Texas?

A city located in the middle of central Texas. It's not a big city, but its a great place to raise a family. Contrary to popular belief, many believe that the city is very ghetto. Thats not entirely true, I mean what city doesn't have crime. The cost of living is very affordable and it don't cost a whole lot to do anything. As a person that is from Killeen, I don't appreciate the negative comments about my city. Killeen is home to The Fort Hood military base as well as Central Texas College and Tarleton State University. It's one of the fastest growing cities in the United States with a population exceeding over 100,000 people. Take some time out to visit this great city.
