A compound word from "Kinder",the German word for "children" and the English word "gallery", meaning "a collection of art for exhibition". Generally, a kindergallery is a collection of a child's artwork displayed in the home by the child's parents. The location is almost always the family refrigerator.
Joe: Did you hear that the Palumbos had to buy a new refrigerator?
Judy: No, why?
Joe: Apparently their old one is too small for the kindergallery now that the triplets have started school.
