A cultural group of people that live in Southern Turkey, Northern Iraq, and parts of Syria. They have a crazy dream that someday they can rip off a part of the aforementioned nations and one day call it Kurdistan. They are a radical group of people that seldom make friends with Syrian, Turkish, or Iranian peoples. It is said that they are a 1000 year old people because they still live in the dark ages: stoning to death is a common practice for punishing among them, forced arranged marriages are a common practice, and only 3% of the common people have access to a private car or computer. They are considered a nuisance to most people that live in the Middle East region because they aren't much of a serious threat, but more of a political annoyance.

Me- "Did you see that Kurdish family right there? I heard they had an honor killing last week."

Joe- "What's that?"

Me- "It's where they stone their daughter/son to death just because she/he was seen with a person of the opposite sex. Ya I know, it's really messed up."

Joe- "Not to mention that they want their own independent nation"

Me- "Yes, indeed they are a nuisance."
