What is Loose End?

A person who does absolutely nothing wrong, who thinks his friends are still his friend when that is not the case. Loose ends usually end up getting clapped violently in the back of an ambulance.

Camera man #1 from Vantage point or the Cart Boy in The Mist who decided to go 1 on 1 with the monster just because he loved his job so much were both prime examples of loose ends.
