The single shoe always seen laying alongside the road while driving down many streets, highways and freeways across America. Theories abound as to the cause of this phenomenon, the most popular being a particularly vicious creature know as "siblingus annoyingus on roadtripus" or the annoying sibling who delights in throwing your shit out the car window on long family road trips.
My f*****g brother threw my shoe out the window while I was sleeping - now its just another lost sole.
