Knowing when to be immature.
It takes a mature person to know when to goof off and when not to.

the state of being so jaded by the shittiness of life that you cannot have fun easily, and must seek and destroy the fun of those who can.

The measure of one's ability to get away with things that are considered inappropriate, illegal, or distasteful by society's standards. As opposed to immaturity, which is the ability to get caught doing shady things.
Lindsay Lohan does not display maturity by constantly getting caught doing dumb shit.
