Qualifications supposedly of equal value to GCSEs or A levels but actually equivalent to coming next-to-last in a primary school egg-and-spoon race. McLevels are earned on the job by working at McDonalds and other commercially minded academic institutions.

"So Wayne, tell me about your qualifications?"

"Yes sir, I've got GCSEs in needlework and tobacco studies, a swimming certificate and two McLevels – one for smiling through adversity, the other for getting to work on time three days in a row."
