What is Micro Machines?

Micro Machines was a line of toy cars and the like sold in the U.S. from the late 1980s to the mid-late 1990s by Galoob (now owned by Hasbro). They were much smaller than Hot Wheelsand Matchbox and came in packages of five. The line also included many playsets, most notably the Highways and Biways collection of restaurants, car washes, farms, etc., connected by plastic track pieces.
