He's capable of flight on his own by use of his two tails as a propeller. It has been questioned whether or not Tails was originally supposed to be a girl in his first game appearance. Tails has also been believed to be losing his role in the shadow of Sonic, but has proved time and time again as a valuable asset to the fight against evil.

Miles Prower, nickname Tails, Is an 11 year old fox with 2 tails he can use as propellers, allowing him sustained flight. His parents were killed by Eggman and Sonic the hedgehog raised him. However, Tails looks to Sonic as more of a Brother than a Father. He is known for his chivalry and genorous personality. I myself have realized that none of the voices for Tails quite suit him. I am currently asking for the honor of voicing Tails in the next Sonic game.
