Nantasket Beach

What is Nantasket Beach?

1.

Nantasket Beach is a strange summertime refuge for the greater Boston area, located in Hull, MA. Once upon a time, Nantasket Beach was home to many recreational activities such as Paragon Park and Uncle Sam's disco. Nowadays, it is home to recreational activities such as petty theft and whip-its.

Contrary to popular belief, the name "Nantasket" is derived from Wampanoag and means "at the strait" or "low-tide place." For many years, people erroneously believed that the word was Gaelic for "convenient place for 18 year olds from Abington to meet easy 13 year old girls." In South Shore slang (also known as "shlang"), the beach is also commonly referred to as "Nantrashket."

Another highlight from Nantasket Beach is the annual 4th of July celebration, which usually culminates in some form of creative arson performed by Hull High School students near L Street.

Other nearby activities include: eating pickled eggs at Steve's A Street Bar, guessing in which decade the local mini-golf place will update its course, scoring free tickets from the Dream Machine for the purpose of acquiring more Fun Dip, drinking too many Zima beverages at the Red Parrot and then vomiting on the Paragon Carousel, heckling Hull Police for their ridiculous cars which can never travel faster than 10 mph because Hull only has two streets, and wiffleball.

Did you hear about the new place that opened where the Penny Arcade used to be? Oh wait, nothing new ever opens on Nantasket Beach because the place is an economic black hole!
