To assert that something being said is 'no jones' infers that the person stating the facts is indeed 'not jonesin', or high on narcotics. This would imply that the facts discussed are true since the orator is of sound mind, and not hallucinating on non-prescription drugs.
"hey man I heard you're going around telling everyone you punched Wilmer Valderama in the pancreas then spit on his Kangol?!"
