When one has hit rock bottom and keeps digging deeper. Like ski-jumper Matti Nykänen, big in the 1980's, but who lost it all and is seen in local bars drinking himself senseless, unless appearing in silly gossip magazines.
Remember that guy we met a year ago, I saw him yesterday and he is really Nykänenified.
