A rare graphic technique used by cnn, Fox Newsand other television news outlets to simultaneously display eighttalking heads in two rows of four heads each. The term was first made popular by Comedy Central's Daily Show. The octobox can only be trumped by the increasingly rare nonobox and decabox

CNN had 8 financial experts talking at the same time so they had to break out the octobox.
