A gaming acronymfor Point Blank Area Effect. Most often used in reference to a spell or ability originating at the location of its caster and extending outwards in all directions, damaging or otherwise effecting anything in its radius up to a listed range. Usually an explosion or nova of some sort. The same as pbaoe.

Bombs have a pbae explosion.

Body odor is a pbae effect.
