What is Post-cliff Burton?

Cliff Burton was the 2nd bassist of Metallica, and died shortly after Metallica's 3rd album, Master of Puppets. While on an overnight drive while on tour in Sweden, thier tour bus flipped over on ice, and Cliff Burton was thrown out of the tour bus and crushed by it, causing his death, in 1986. After this, Metallica was only able to pull off 1 great album, then 1 decent album after that (...And Justice for All, then the Black Album) The term post-Cliff Burton refers to how Metallica slowly became horrible after his death.
