What is Ritual Viewing?

verb. American phrase. It means to watch television in a trance-like state. Some might call it being a couch potato, but it is of a higher power and purpose as described by the TV Ministry, the TV worshiping religion.
"Lay down your false idols and turn to our real god. The one you and I have worshiped for years-- The Television!"
I was ritual viewing last night to Seinfeld, it was enlightening.
