A corporate observance held annually on the last Tuesday in July where staff in offices throughout the world dress in red tops and black bottoms.
Unlike "pajama day" or Halloween, one might wear red and black anyway so there's nothing to feel stupid about if you end up being the only one who participates.
Literal observers of Ruby Tuesday have lunch at the restaurant of the same name on this day. Those who observe it ironically eat lunch at Chili's.
There's an excessive number of people in the office dressed in red and black today. Must be Ruby Tuesday.
