What is 2am?

Used to be a site where you could download the 2am client and play marvelous games such as (my memory is a little foggy, but I'll try to remember) Chess, Checkers, Backgammon, The Invisible Hand, Total War, Chain Of Command, and Poker.
It was really cool, and had unique games, all for free! The site unfortunately went kaput for some unknown reason. The boardcard games are common enough at any game site, and most people thought TIH and TW kind of sucked, but Chain Of Command lives on in its clone, Call Of Combat.
