The study of science fiction (also known as sci-fi or scifi).

Also: scifiologist, a person who studies science fiction.

NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH SCIENTOLOGY WITH WHICH SCIFIOLOGY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH.
