What is Seasonal Sweater?

A sweater that a female boss/manager, mom, grandmother or realtor wears in order to seem more "festive." Can sometimes be seen on men, but very rarely, and usually at the request of their wives or significant others.
Look at the boss/grandma/mom/realtor wearing that stupid seasonal sweater with the snowman on it. I wonder if he/she knows just how lame that is.
