What is Shanny?

Used as a noun, verb or even an adjective, shanny is used to describe the act of, or a guy who moves his way to or encroaches on a girl, or group of girls on a dance floor, uninvited, and tries to dance with one or all of them. Obviously, he or the act of is rejected, unless he is lucky and picks the drunk,
Girl Dancing: "You guys! That dude is trying to shanny Marie..haha."
Other girl in group: "Lets save her and move our dance party circle before she gets shannied. Grose."
Guy aka Shanny or Shannier: "Dude, those girls dancing are hot! Im gonna shanny my way into thier dance circle. Hopefully I will shanny the woo-girl! You know what that means."
Girl to guy friend Shannier: " You are never gonna get any if you keep shann(y)ing or trying to shanny every hot girl in here. It's just creepy."
