Shrimp On The Barby Edit Meaning

To place a peice of meat, normally a nice prawn, on a barbecue. Used as a common saying in Australia.

Bloke 1. "Oi mate, chuck another shrimp on the barby im bloody hungry"

Bloke 2. "No worries cobber...ah shit, the barbys cactus mate, she aint gona cook to well on ere, we'll have to get the backup barby out mate."

Bloke 1: "No worries mate, do what ya gota do i just need that tucker in me now cob. Cheers mate, want another beer mate?"
