Slasher Film Edit Meaning

One of those cliche, suspenseful slasher films, which had a big bang throughout the 90's.

These types of films usually have a group of young adults/teens being deviant in some sort of way, with a main character, and they all seem to fall right into the hands of the sick psycho killer who usually likes to eat people.

In the end, the main character (who is usually always a girl) lives to tell the story...or in many cases, fall back into the hands of the killer. Also called a sequel.

<person1> Omg did you that new slasher film "Don't Look Outside or I'll Kill You" ???

<person2> Oh the one where they all look outside and die one by one by the crazy cannabalistic deformed freak?

<person1> So you've watched it!

<person2> No, actually I've never heard of it.
