Spinifex is an abundant type of spine-like grass which grows in outback Australia. The spinifex fairy is allegedly a type of "human" which hunts kangaroos by spear in the day, and drinks methylated spirits by night. Spinifex fairies are often found in many inner city parks, often swearing loudly at their young children for various reasons, often to "give back the f*&%%$ smokes!"
