What is Squirrel Backup?

One of many backups one does, just to leave them sitting somewhere and never remember where it is, and why was it made. A proper squirrel backup contains files one never wanted to keep in the first place.

Looking through my stash of DVDs I discovered several squirrel backups, no idea what I was thinking backing that stuff up.
