Substitute

What is Substitute?

1.

Also called "sub", the poor person, either fresh out of college or old and retired, who fills in for absent teachers. The sub can expect to be ridiculed and tortured by bitch-ass 7th graders who will do anything in their power not to finish an easy worksheet left them by their teacher. The sub is basically a $55/day babysitter.

Bitch-ass kid: Ah hell yeah we got a substitute today! We ain't doin shit! Hey Mister, uhh...Mister!(kid can't read last name on the board because he's an illiterate degenerate) Can I go to da bafroom?

2.

A new clique in the high school world that is very unique and hard to be a part of. Substitutes do not hang out with each other, nor do they hang out with best friends. Substitutes flit among the many social groups there are in a high school hallway. Usually, everyone knows the substitute, because they are nice, personable, and funny. The main description of a substitute is when a person in high school is not able to have one of their better friends in their presence, they look for a substitute to hang with until they find someone they are better friends with. If one person asked another person who was a certain substitute's best friend, the answer would most likely be "I dunno, they are pretty much friends with everybody."

An inner thought: "Oh man, my best friend Sam isn't here to hang with. There's Joe, I guess he'll do. He can substitute for Sam and we'll walk around until she comes to school and I'll leave Joe."
