A rabid, raving fanboy lunatic who voices his overblown opinions and slings vulgar insults at people through the safe anonymity of the Internet. Instead of finding good points on either side of an argument or being a moderate on an issue, has to stick with an extreme and defend it to the death with some of the most over-the-top, venomous, and poorly-spelled arguments ever made.

The talkbacker gets his name from the Talkback sections of movie website Ain't It Cool News, where some of the internet's most neanderthalic denizens thrive off of the venom they spew at each other.
