What is T-bonics?
1.
(n) A variant on Ebonics created and perpetuated by the celebrity personality, Laurence Tureaud, commonly known as Mr. T. T-bonics uses a combination of silly-sounding or nonsensical phrases and intimidating words, often for purposes of motivating youths to make positive life choices, such as treating one's mother right, abstaining from drug use, and staying in school. Phraseology usually revolves around some sort of name-calling, as in "sucka" or "fool," expressions of pity, varying degrees of displeasure with a situation or an indivual's behavior, or references to his own life trials and misfortunes that dispell another individual's perceived hardships.
