The VW Terkel came standard with a 12 HP .5-liter engine, wheels made from the skins of hedgehogs, and a propane bar-b-q. Bill Braskyoften lifted this car above his head for exercise. It got 1/8 mile per gallon, but made up for it with an 800-gallon tank.
