The Sash

What is The Sash?

1.

A loyalist song well known to anyone residing in Norn Iron, as well as to many people in Scotland, particularly Glasgow

It was old but it was beautiful, and the colours they were fine,

It was borne at Derry, Aughrim, Enniskillen and the Boyne,

And me father wore it in his youth in the bygone days of yore,

And on the 12th I love to wear the sash my father wore.
