ghetto-type areas found in South Africa, ususally along the coast of Durbanor in Sowetho. They are full of weed, gunsand gangsters, and everyone in them hates white people.

"I'm going to the township to chill with mah homies" (this would be said in Zulu or Sothu, never english)
