What is Tririga?

A disaster of unprecedented mediocrity. Consisting of multiple independent failures that overlap in a symphonic cacophony of destruction. Often seen in cinema as a dark comedy where disaster could have been averted at any point, but because of repeated mistakes on the part of the protagonists, failure is inevitable.
The failures of all the politicians involved in 9/11 demonstrates what a TRIRIGA the whole thing was. I think that huricane Rita will be no different.

The team of three horses that pulled the chariot of the Roman emperor, and regarded as a symbol of victory upon an emperor's return from successful conquests.
Tririga is most often used as a proper name, as in the case of a company called TRIRIGA based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
