What is Village Atheist?

1. (Literally) a solitary vocal atheistin a community made up of devoted and religious believers.

2. (More generally) a person who is aggressive and unwavering in their opinions, in the face of any possible opposition.

Somewhat perjorative. See also, village idiot.
