To cruelly trick, con, scam, or take advantage of the stupidity of others for personal gain. Most commonly used in games, but certainly applicable in any pursuit.
When Chris landed on Boardwalk where Heather had a hotel, he slyly began a conversation to distract her from that fact. Then he handed her the dice and said,"It's your turn." Tricking her into rolling and thus getting out of paying her. In response to her protests he simply told her to deal with it as she had just been dirtyhammed.
