The Soham murderer. Amid massive media coverage and public attention during the summer of 2002, the small town of Soham, Cambridgeshire, UK, hit the international spotlight. Two pupils of Soham Village College, were abducted by school caretaker Ian Huntley, and callously murdered. Ian Huntley was found guilty of both killings and sentenced to life imprisonment, with a recommendation that he serve at least 40 years before he can be considered for parole. Arguably he is currently the most hated man in Britain.
