What is Irish Coffee?

A drink considting of coffee mixed with Irish whiskey. Can be served hot or cold, here's my cold recipe.
Iced Irish Coffee
2 cups (around 16 ounces) freshley brewed coffee
3 ounces Irish
2 tablespoons sugar
1.5 ounce milk
.5 ounce chocolate milk
Pour the milks and sugar into the coffee and stir.
Pour the whiskey in as you're stirring.
Pour this mix into a cup of ice, and then pour that cup back into the previous one. Do this about three or four times and then dispose of the ice.
Top with sweetened whipped creme if desired.
Can serve 2
Last night I drank 4 Irish coffees and had a hyperactive drunkenness!

Irish Coffee
1 cup (8-ounces) heavy cream
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
6 cups strong, hot black coffee
3/4 cup Irish
Using an electric mixer, beat the cream with 1 tablespoon of sugar until soft peaks form. Set aside.
Combine remaining sugar, coffee and whiskey.
Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream. Serve immediately.
Serves 4 to 6.

Irish Coffee (For One)
Ingredients
1 Measure (3 cl) of Irish
1 teaspoon of raw sugar
1 heaped desertspoon of whipped cream
Hot strong coffee to fill the glass
Pre-warm a stemmed glass. Add the whiskey.
Add the sugar and stir in the coffee.
Float the whipped cream on top.
Drink the coffee through the cream (ie do not stir after adding the cream).
Irish Coffee is not for kids.

An alcoholic coffee drink made with Irish Whiskey.
How to make:
Warm a 8-oz thick goblet by rinsing it in very hot or boiling water. Pour fresh coffee (about 5 to 6. oz) and whiskey (about 2 oz.) into goblet. Add sugar, stiring until dissolved, then add a generous dab of whipped cream.
You'd be suprised how many bartenders don't know how to make Irish Coffee.
