Kadayao is the vernacular term used by the Waray or inhabitants of North, East and West Samar (Philippines) for the phase of the moon when it appears round and gives its brightest light. The tagalog-speaking people of Metro Manila and other places in the Philippines called the same phenomenon kabilogan ng buwan (full moon)
