A Term developed by a Young Television Editor Native of Miami living in New York City. The term was created to describe a chongo (male version of a chonga) who dresses slickly and is sophisticated in style of music and taste but still keeps it real with plenty of bling.
The young machismo cubanito dressed like P.Diddy and went to Mangos for Halloween en Miami.
Next thing he knew this little Colombiana chongita dressed up as Pochantas drinking a Mojito came up to him and said; "OYE, pero you are like sooooo super cute, you are soooo like how do you say..... SOPHISTICHONG!!!!
BooYah-and thats how the word was created.
